The regime's radio announced in a report on Thursday July 28th, that a series of protests in the township of Khorveen, in the province of Khorasan (north eastern Iran, bordering with Afghanistan) led to protestors attacking the offices of the 'Supreme Leader' Khamnei in that province, breaking windows. The Islamic media, which always refers to protestors as 'vermin' or 'sub-humans', raged on and announced that these protestors were in fact a group who wanted their fellow activists, arrested in previous days demonstrations, unconditionally freed.

Khamnei is currently on a trip to the holy city of Mash'had to the shrine of the 8th Imam of the Shi'ites, Imam Reza (in the province of Khorasan).
