Female teachers and their children gather in front of the Islamic Assembly

Iran Press News: Translation by Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzzi
A group of women who are permitted to teach gathered in front of the Islamic Assembly of the Parliament today to protest the exploitation of the Ministry of Education and Training. The protestors said they each have four years [or more] experience, teaching and have received their certification under the employment testing requirements for licensed teachers which is overseen by the Association of Consideration which promised them all jobs but have now begun to make excuses, saying that they are not in any condition to hire anyone. The licensed female teachers who attended the rally with their own children, gathered in front of the Parliament of the Mullahs to stress the fact that in spite of repeated attempts to be heard, they have been actively ignored. The protesting teachers hail from the region of Robaat-Karim and Shahriar which are towns [located in the south west of Tehran]; these teachers said that in their region there are another 200 teachers suffering through the same fate in their region.
