Israeli Military Intelligence: Iran Certain to Develop Nukes

Israel has determined that Iran would not be stopped in its drive to produce nuclear weapons. Israeli military intelligence has assessed that Iran's nuclear program has reached a stage where it could continue even in case of international sanctions. But the assessment did not rule out a major delay in Teheran's drive for nuclear weapons.

On Wednesday, Zeevi-Farkash told the Jaffee Center for Strategic Studies that two years of inspections by the International Atomic Energy Agency hampered Iran's nuclear program. The general said the IAEA inspections set back Teheran's secret nuclear weapons program by at least two years.
