Angry workers set factory on fire...

Iran Press News: Translation by Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzi.
Approximately 150 workers of the Miral Glass factory who have neither been paid for more than 11 months nor received any benefits of any kind set said factory on fire. The workers said: "We have to live with the hungry looks on the faces of our wives and children while everyone else shops for their Norouz* and we have nothing to offer our families. Therefore since we have run out of patience, from today until the day we receive our back pay and our benefits or the management does not put in an appearance to address the situation, the fires will continue." The workers, angry at the continued neglect by the management added: "They're shut down the factory's electricity and have taken all our work opportunities away from us; they got all this work out of us then without paying us months of owed salaries, they shut the place down. There is no choice but to show them. We've been threatened by the disciplinary and security forces of the regime but so far they haven't had any physical clashes with them.
