Ahmadinejad: "The world's noise and objections mean nothing to us"

Iran Press News: Translation by Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzz
Ahmadinejad, in a meeting with various Mullahs in the city of Qom, stressed the role of the regime in the global expansion of Islamic fundamentalism and said: "The prophetic mission of the Islamic revolution is global and we as the standard-bearers of the "Velayateh Faqih" (Shiite version of khalifa) will be ready for responding to the world's needs."

Ahmadinejad continued, commenting on the regime's nuclear activities: "The Islamic republic will not forgo its rights to obtain nuclear fuel. The IAEA is being manipulated by world powers in finding excuses to take our rights away from us."

He added: "Since two years ago, using the excuse of 'ambiguities' in our activities, they turned their investigations' focus on us. They worked at creating a trust between us so that they could prevent us from obtaining the nuclear fuel centrifuge but we will not abandon our entitlement. At the end of this two-year period we have come to the conclusion that they care nothing about trust; they just want to deprive us.

El Baradei told Mr. Larijani
(the Secretary of the National Security of the regime) that Europeans simply do not want you to have the centrifuge. When we realized what these Europeans were planning, we restarted work at the Esfahan plant which lead to their noise and objections which means nothing to us."
