Iran Press News: Translation by Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzi
The regime-run site AFTAB reports: A number of the regime’s members of Parliament, belonging to the hardliners, in a meeting with Ahmadinejad expressed deep dissatisfaction with the government’s operations, especially where the economy is concerned. The MP’s gave Ahmadinejad a stern warning and reiterated that he has only until mid-January to remedy the situation. The 3 most prominent members of the group [of hardliners], Elias Naaderaan, Emaad Afrough, and Hossein Nejaabat took part in the meeting as well. They threatened that if matters do not improve by mid-January, they will have no recourse but to use every legal means available to them to deal with the situation in the best way they see fit.”
